  • Chemical Engineering
  • Chemistry
  • Biology
  • Bioengineering
  • Biomedical Engineering

Graduate students interested in joining the lab must apply through Clarkson Graduate School and should specifically indicate their interest in joining the PSI Research group in the appropriate locations in their application and in their personal statement. Additional information about graduate program of the Department of Physics is available on this page.

PSI Research group offers undergraduates at all stages in their studies (freshman through senior) and in all of the disciplines listed above an opportunity to participate in research during the summer and the academic year. As a result of the multi-disciplinary nature of the research being pursued in the Çolak Research group, undergraduate research projects are tailored to the undergraduate researcher’s interests within the general scope of the research activities of lab. There are no formal requirements (experience, year or major). However, all undergraduate researchers must commit to spending at least one full year in the group, including one summer (10 weeks).

There are currently no post-doctoral openings (as of 1/2021). It is not anticipated that there will be openings until fall 2021 (at the earliest) based on current funding available. However, Prof. Çolak is always happy to support students interested in pursuing external fellowships (e.g. Fulbright, NIH, or similar).
